So here's my lunch for tomorrow. Going clockwise: salad with homegrown alfalfa/clover sprouts; carrots, celery and broccoli; leftover rice and pinto beans (no lard or chicken/beef broth, etc), grapes!

This blog started off as an experiment to see how hard it would be to make the transition from vegetarianism to veganism. I discovered that it wasn't really very hard at all, and I have been eating completely vegan ever since. I use local and farmer's market (FM) produce in my cooking whenever possible. FYI: Two cookbooks I use alot are Vegan With a Vengeance (VWAV) and Veganomicon (Vcon). I will reference these both quite a bit (because they are so good)!
