Race for the Cure

Today Cristina and I ran the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. If you've paid any attention to my blog, you can probably see that I haven't really been training...at all. Running is my weakest tri sport, but I'm determined to change that. The race wasn't too bad though; I was able to run a big chunk of it, and it was lots of fun for a good cause.

After the run, we paid another visit to The Stand in Laguna Beach. I took pictures this time. I got vegetable barley soup with half of a guacamole and hummus sandwich.

Cristina got a tamale with guac. I had a bite and it was really good. I think I may get this next time.

Here's a picture of our strawberry/kiwi/banana shake made with almond milk.

This food looks so yummy! Welcome to the world of vegan food blogging! (And triathlon training, too?)

Thanks for the welcome! I'm still trying to find my "voice" in this blogging world, but it's fun and a good way to stay motivated. I'm not hardcore with my tri training, but I enjoy tri sports and I'd eventually like to do one.
